Patient Appointment Execution

To execute an Appointment, you must follow the next steps:

In the DoctorHelper®’s app, click the Site map icon Site Map icon , and then click “Appointments Board”. 

On the Appointments Board, right click the Appointment and change the status to "In Progress."

The Appointment color will change to green.



On the Appointment Board the appointment will change the color too.

Hover over the appointment and then click “Appointment EHR” number displayed in this dialog.



The appointment will be opened.
Or you can go to the Appointments section and click the appointment number.

Then click “In Progress”.

All the Appointment tabs and information will be displayed.

General Information

To add information to the Appointment’s General Information, follow the steps below and do not forget to complete the required fields (*). Fields marked with (-) are auto completed.

    • General Information
      • (-) Appointment Number: This field will be autocompleted.
      • (*) Patient: Select Appointment's Patient from the lookup list (click on Icon<br><br>Description automatically generated with medium confidence or click on enter)
      • (-) Age: This field will be autocompleted after the Patient is selected.
      • (-) Birthdate: This field will be autocompleted after the Patient is selected.
      • (-) Gender: This field will be autocompleted after the Patient is selected.
      • (*) Type: Select Appointment's Type from the lookup list (click on Icon<br><br>Description automatically generated with medium confidence or click on enter). In this case select “Virtual Consultation”. Depending on the Type selected other fields will be displayed.
      • (*) Appointment Reason: Select Appointment's Reason from the lookup list (click on Icon<br><br>Description automatically generated with medium confidence or click on enter)
      • Save and Close.
    • Patient Flags: To insert Patient's Flag, click on Chart, scatter chart<br><br>Description automatically generated then click on " New Patient Flag"

  • Complete the Patient's Flags. Fields with (*) are required fields and must be completed before save the record. Fields marked with (-) are auto completed.
    • (*) Patient Flag: Select Patient's Flag from the look up list (click on Icon<br><br>Description automatically generated with medium confidence or click on enter)
    • Orders to Print: After the Practitioner insert a medical order, depending on the selected, the orders to print fields will be auto completed.
        • Image Order
        • Procedure Order
        • Medication Order
        • Laboratory Order
    • Encounter
      • Follow Up: Enter next appointment optional date
      • Companion: Select Patient's Companion from the lookup list (click on Icon<br><br>Description automatically generated with medium confidence or click on enter). If the person doesn’t exist please created as a potencial patient.

      • (-) Virtual Appointment Link: This field will be auto completed after the appointment is booked.
      • Satisfaction Rating: Select Patient’s appointment satisfaction rating
      • (-) Appointment Rating: The appointment rating value will be auto calculated depending on satisfaction rating selected: Bad, Poor, Average/Natural, Good, Excellent.
      • (-) Practitioner: This field will be auto completed after the appointment is booked.
      • (-) Date: This field will be auto completed after the appointment is booked.
      • (-) Start Time: This field will be auto completed after the appointment is started.
      • (-) End Time: This field will be auto completed after the appointment is completed.
      • (-) Duration; This field will be auto completed after the appointment is completed.
      • Save
